Cancellation Policy

The Client may cancel this Agreement at any time up to 15 days before the Event Date by providing written notice of such election to the Studio manager/owner, at no cost to the Client. If Client shall elect to so cancel this agreement between 14 and 8 days before the Event Date, Client will be charged 50% of the Rental Cost and any expenses incurred in good faith by the Studio manager/owner in preparation for Client's use of the Facility. For cancellations 7 days before the Event Date, the Client will be charged 100% of the Rental Costs and any expenses incurred by the Studio manager/owner. Booking Policy: Rentals are available only on a first-come, first-served basis, with deposits ready to be paid. No dates or times are held without a deposit and a signed agreement before booking. All rentals are paid rentals. There is no free overtime. (Non-negotiable). ​​Events over 5 hours are quote-based. No events over 8 hours. Please include setup and breakdown time within the reservation. Rentals begin and end promptly at the agreed-upon time. The studio must be cleaned and vacated by the scheduled end time, NO LATER. If you are late leaving the studio or do not have time to complete the required clean-up process, you will be charged an additional late fee and cleaning fee. Production and Event insurance is recommended and/ or required. (COI is necessary). All guests and clients are responsible for any stolen, missing, or damaged items and merchandise. Events must end by midnight. Unless authorized by the studio manager/owner prior in writing. Studio Safety Guides: This is a small Black femme-owned studio space that provides a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community. Clients must be respectful and responsible for the space and people within it. This is non-negotiable to ensure a safe and brave space for everyone to enjoy. Food and Beverage: Outside food and non alcoholic drinks are allowed. Alcohol is allowed for 21+ events. Only Food Preparation is allowed on site. No cooking, baking, or frying on the premises. Restrooms and Facilities: There are public restrooms in the facilities; however, not in the actual space. Free onsite parking, free street parking Access to a bar area with a deep sink. No on-site refrigerator available. Access to studio fans. No access to AC on the premises. There is no on-site dumpster. Clients must take their trash. Any trash left will incur a $100 fee.
